Our Work
Alleviate Inc. works across several areas of community need. Our approach combines immediate relief with long-term empowerment. We respond to urgent needs such as hunger and homelessness while also supporting education, training, rehabilitation, and employment pathways.
Our work is practical, people-centered, and focused on helping vulnerable individuals move toward dignity and opportunity.
What We Do
1. Feed the Hungry
We provide meals to homeless and vulnerable people in Port Moresby. Hunger is one of the most immediate signs of hardship, and our feeding program responds with compassion, consistency, and dignity.
2. Support Vulnerable Children
We support orphans and vulnerable children through preschool and education-related initiatives. Early childhood support is one of the most powerful ways to give children a better future.
3. Train and Empower Youth
Many young people in Papua New Guinea are willing to work but lack the skills, confidence, and guidance to enter the workforce. Alleviate supports youth through training, mentoring, and employment readiness initiatives.
4. Rehabilitate and Restore
We believe in second chances. Alleviate supports rehabilitation efforts for prisoners and disadvantaged individuals who want to rebuild their lives and contribute positively to society.
5. Create Pathways to Employment
Through Alleviate Employment Agency, we aim to connect job seekers with training, internships, on-the-job learning, and employment opportunities. Our goal is to help people become work-ready and move toward financial independence.
